Lately I’ve been imagining I’ve been sent back in time to have a second shot at enjoying my life instead of leading a miserable one. I’m trying to take full advantage of my privileges and limited responsibilities. Sometimes I wonder why I never took advantage of those things before, and it’s because they didn’t really exist. I was living in a system (for lack of a less cliche term) that attacks anyone trying to live outside the norm as being childish or unrealistic, and it still does, but I just see it as less of an authoritative “No, you don’t!” to a petulant child’s “No, you don’t!”.
